Schedules
I will post my workshops, roll classes and lectures abroad here. I have just started, so I haven't gotten the rhythm. STORM ON's activities are probably "roll class" in summer and "workshop" in winter. Of course, I will be flexible to your request. Please send me if you have any requests. Workshop
My workshop mainly teaches how to make a Qajaq. Members are fixed for an unspecified period. Currently I am teaching the 6th term members. Now that the severity of COVID-19 has subsided, I have restarted my workshops and will welcome your visit, so please check our calendar before coming. It's held on the weekend. In March 2012, I went to Argentina to give a lecture on how to make Qajaq. That was a very hard plan for me. But as a result, there was a great harvest and I was able to improve my skills. Actually, it was my second time as an overseas lecture after SSTIKS in 2011. I still remember the passion of the organizers, staff and participants. I think this lecture was successful because of their support. And I miss Argentina very much now. In the near future I want to meet them again.
Roll Classes
There are about 70 types of greenland rolls on the left and right. Lectures will be given on request, from basic to difficult. As for tools, I can lend you skin kayaks, Waterfield Qaanaaq series, Greenland paddles, Tuilik, etc. I have refrained from activities for COVID-19 so far, but I will resume it soon. The role class is based on "one-on-one" and will be taught from its origin and purpose. I don't see Greenland Roll as a sport. It's just Greenland culture. That is why I care about its propagation. This is a roll class setup. First, pre-select the roll you want to learn. You can see the rolls list here. On the day of the roll class, you will first receive a dry lecture. This is an image training using CG animation. Once you have an idea of the overall movement of the roll, do a hands-on training at sea.

Due to the influence of COVID-19, I have been absent from roll classes overseas for about two years. But this year I'm going to restart it. I have already received offers from two countries. They are Canada and Greece. Both are scheduled for September, so it's a hard schedule for me, but I'd like to make adjustments as much as possible.
Storm Shelter
STORM SHELTER is the home of STORM ON. I will hold a workshop here and plan a roll classes. Animations as teaching materials are also produced here. If you have a chance to visit Japan, you should definitely come here. I always welcome you. The sea is near, so let's practice rolling together!
